Meet Our Founder

Pacific Outdoor Supply was founded by Jason Melschau, an avid outdoorsman who believes some of life's greatest lessons are learned outside.

After years in the outdoor industry and countless miles on trails, in the mountains, and exploring the backcountry, including technical climbs like the East Face of Mount Whitney, Jason learned that the right gear isn't about the latest trends or flashy features. It's about knowing you can depend on it when conditions change and the unexpected happens.

That philosophy continues to guide Pacific Outdoor Supply today. Every product we offer is carefully selected with the same standards Jason relies on for his own adventures, so you can head outside with confidence, wherever your journey takes you.
