Built from a Life Outdoors: Why I Started Pacific Outdoor Supply

There are plenty of places to buy outdoor gear.

That's never really been the point for me.

For most of my life, I've spent my time outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, climbing mountains, sitting around campfires with good friends, and introducing new people to places they've never been before. Along the way, I've learned something pretty simple: Good gear matters.

Not because it's expensive or because it's the newest thing on the shelf. It matters because when you're miles from the truck, standing in a cold river, hiking above tree line, or setting camp before dark, you need equipment you can trust.

That's why I started Pacific Outdoor Supply.

I wanted to build a place where people could find quality gear from brands that have earned their reputation in the field. The kind of equipment I'd recommend to friends and family because I've either used it myself or know the people who have.

But this company is about more than products.

It's about helping people spend more time outside.

Whether that's your first camping trip, your annual fishing trip with lifelong friends, a backcountry hunt, or climbing your first mountain, I hope Pacific Outdoor Supply becomes a useful resource along the way.
