Mt. Whitney Via Mountaineer's Route Last Week

Short post today, but we did something special last week.  An excellent group of men decided a few months ago to take on a challenge.  We decided on a three-day, two-night attempt at the Mountaineer’s Route on Mount Whitney commencing last Thursday and ending this past Saturday. 

It was awe inspiring, humbling, disorienting at times, and an absolute challenge to the man.  We had clear skies, plenty of snow still on the ground and everyone reached a personal benchmark.  There was plenty to learn.  We worked with some incredible guides at SWS Mountain Guides who went above and beyond to help us achieve our best moments.

I intend to get a more vivid post up in the next two days.
